Stay on top of your inventory and purchasing activity without leaving Slack. This guide walks you through how to:
Connect your Slack account to Tightly
Choose which channels receive notifications
Add or remove the Tightly app from specific channels
Step 1: Connect Your Slack Account
Go to Settings → Store Settings
Click the Integrations tab
In the integrations list, find Slack
Click Connect either from the integrations table or by clicking into the Slack integration page
Step 2: Authorize Slack Access
After clicking Connect, you’ll be redirected to Slack’s authentication page.
Slack will ask if you allow Tightly to send notifications to your Slack workspace.
Click Allow.
✅ Your Slack workspace is now connected to Tightly!
Step 3: Add Tightly App to a Slack Channel
To receive notifications, you need to add the Tightly app to each Slack channel you want to use.
In Slack, go to the channel where you want to receive notifications (e.g.
#notifications)Click the channel name at the top
In the modal, click the Integrations tab
Find the Apps section and click Add an App
Search for Tightly
Select it and click Add
You’ll now receive Tightly notifications in that channel!
🔁 Repeat this for any additional channels you'd like to connect.
Removing Tightly from a Channel
To stop receiving notifications in a Slack channel:
Go to the Slack channel
Type the following command:
/remove @Tightly
Note: You must be a channel manager or Slack workspace owner to remove apps.
You can re-add Tightly at any time using the same steps above.
