Lead time determines how long it takes for a product to arrive after placing a purchase order. Keeping it accurate helps Tightly calculate delivery windows, support InStock logic, and forecast replenishment.
You can update lead times in bulk for products - especially useful when multiple SKUs share the same supplier and delivery expectation.
Step 1: Filter by Supplier
Go to Manage > Inventory.
Use the filter panel to select the supplier whose products you want to update.
(Optional) Add more filters — for example: products that are managed, or within a certain category.
Step 2: Select the Products
Use the checkboxes to select all relevant rows.
Use Select All Results if the list spans multiple pages.
Step 3: Edit Lead Times via Quick Actions
After making your selection, the Quick Actions bar will appear.
Click Edit Selected Products.
In the modal, check the Lead Time field and enter the new value (in days).
Click Apply Changes.
Tightly will now use this lead time for:
Calculating expected delivery dates in purchase orders
Evaluating backordering eligibility in InStock policies
Estimating Days of Cover and replenishment schedules

Make sure all selected products have the same default supplier if you're applying a supplier-specific lead time.
You can override lead times for individual variants later by editing directly in the table or on the Variant page.
⚠️ Lead time applies per supplier-variant combo, so switching the default supplier may reset the visible value.
