Notification Center

Updated this week

The Notification Center in Tightly keeps you informed about critical inventory events — like stockouts, overstocks, and backorder alerts — so you can act fast and stay in control.

Overview

The Notification Center is your centralized feed for all important system alerts related to inventory health, InStock logic, and replenishment activity.

It helps your team stay proactive by surfacing key issues before they impact revenue or customer experience.

With the Notification Center, you can:

  • Instantly see critical stock events (e.g. stockouts, overstocks).

  • Filter by notification type (Inventory, InStock, etc.).

  • Quickly identify the SKUs or suppliers involved.

  • Bookmark or dismiss alerts once handled.

How It Works

What does the Notification Center track?

Tightly monitors your entire inventory ecosystem and triggers alerts for:

  • Stockouts: Items with 0 available inventory.

  • Overstocks: SKUs with inventory far exceeding projected demand.

  • InStock Policy Breaches: SKUs no longer meeting backordering requirements.

  • Other inventory anomalies like unassigned products or policy mismatches (coming soon).

Each alert includes:

  • A clear description of the issue (e.g. “571 SKUs are overstocked”).

  • Linked tags for quick access (e.g. Inventory, InStock).

  • The relevant supplier or SKU group (e.g. “Heist OGL”).

  • Severity tags (e.g. Critical, Warning).

1. Filtering & Categories

Use the Filters button to drill down by:

  • Notification type (Inventory, InStock, etc.)

  • Severity level (Critical, Warning)

  • Time (e.g. last 24 hours, this week)

Tabs at the top let you toggle between:

  • All notifications

  • Specific areas like Inventory or InStock

This helps you focus only on the most relevant updates for your role or team.

2. Bookmarking & Prioritization

  • Click the Bookmark icon to pin important alerts you want to revisit later.

  • Use this to flag high-priority stockouts or vendor-related delays.

You can also mark all as read once alerts have been addressed.

3. Dismiss or Clear Alerts

  • Use the three-dot menu beside any alert to delete it individually.

  • Or use Delete All at the bottom to clear everything once caught up.

This keeps your workspace clean and focused on what’s next.
