How Do I Export a Filtered Inventory List?

Updated over a week ago

Tightly allows you to export a custom view of your inventory - filtered, sorted, and tailored to your current workflow. You can download your filtered table as a CSV file directly from the Inventory page.

Step 1: Apply Filters or Adjust Columns (Optional)

  1. Go to Manage > Inventory.

  2. Use the filter panel to narrow your view by:

    • Supplier

    • Category

    • Location

    • Tags (e.g. “Out of Stock” or “Overstocked”)

    • Any other field relevant to your workflow

  3. Use the Manage Columns dropdown to show or hide the columns you want included in the export.

Step 2: Export the Data

  1. Once your view is ready, click the Export button above the Inventory table.

  2. A CSV file will be generated based on:

    • The filters you applied

    • The columns currently visible in your table

  3. Download the file and open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet tool.

Notes

  • Only visible data will be exported — so make sure the relevant columns are enabled.

  • The export respects your current sorting and filtering setup.

  • This feature is helpful for reporting, sharing with suppliers, or reviewing inventory performance offline.
