The Sales page in Tightly provides essential insights into sales performance, tracking key revenue, profit, and inventory movement metrics. This page helps businesses analyze trends, monitor sales velocity, and make informed decisions on pricing and stock management.

With the Sales page, you can:

  • View key sales metrics including revenue, gross profit, and cost of goods sold (COGS).

  • Track product sales performance over specific periods.

  • Monitor SKU-level sales trends and profitability.

  • Filter, search, and export sales data for reporting.


Accessing the Sales Page

  1. Log in to Tightly.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Sales.

Understanding the Sales Page

1. Overview Metrics

At the top of the Sales page, key performance indicators provide a snapshot of recent sales activity:

  • Items Sold – The number of SKUs sold in the selected period.

  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) – The total cost associated with the sold inventory.

  • Sales Amount – The total revenue generated from sales.

  • Gross Profit – The net earnings after deducting COGS.

These metrics can be compared to previous periods to analyze performance trends.

2. Sales Data Table

Below the overview metrics, the Sales Data Table offers detailed insights into individual product sales. Key columns include:

  • SKU ID – The unique identifier for the product.

  • SKU Name – The product name.

  • Quantity Sold – The total units sold within the selected period.

  • Sell Price – The price per unit at which the product was sold.

  • Sales Amount – The total revenue generated by the product.

  • Unit Cost – The cost per unit, used to calculate profit margins.

3. Filtering & Searching

To refine sales data and locate specific SKUs, Tightly provides several tools:

  • Filters – Apply filters such as date range, SKU, or category.

  • Search Bar – Enter a SKU ID or product name to find a specific item.

  • Manage Columns – Customize the data fields displayed in the table.

4. Exporting Sales Data

For external reporting or further analysis, sales data can be exported:

  • Click Export as CSV to download sales records for offline review.

From the Sales page, users can:

  • Identify top-performing and underperforming SKUs.
